Definition of nonsense
Things of relatively no importance or value.......that will probably be a perfect description of my blog. I will try to be interesting but, no promises. My attempt to start off with a cool picture was a challenge to say the least. This one of the roosters has a story, I will make it short; there is a LITTLE town named Fair Oaks where the chickens and roosters run wild and control the traffic in town, where the main street is only 3 short blocks long. They have been in control for at least 40 years. They started their campaign small with just a few being brave enough to walk the streets. Now, they are large in numbers and even have a annual holiday celebration in their honor....during the spring they parade their young in the parks and warn you of impending doom if you get too close to their babies. Well, that's my post for now. I hope to have some crafting things to show in the future days...

You go mom!!! Love the chickens. Are you sure it's been 40 years?? Man I'm old.... Don't worry you're not!
Welcome to our world.
I enjoyed the chicken story. Seems important to me.I love that they rule the town.
I think there is lots of hidden meaning there, especially in regards to our current Presidential candidates.
Corinnea, you were barely born..so you aren't old! And I KNOW I'm not!!! That is the picture Jess took last year when she was here. She did a great job. Takes after her mom....
Thanks for your welcome,thorngren...I'm glad you liked the story AND you got that it is important..they were so subtle in their takeover of the town, it happened before our very eyes and we allowed it..heehee. And it is cool that something like that can happen in this day and age. As for as the current Presidential race, I would liken that to the turkeys that keep messy up my new flower bed!!!! Sorry, maybe that comment was too long?!?!?!
NORMA!!!!!! Welcome to bloggers paradise! Since your first blog comments took such a political turn, I'll add fuel to the fire. One of my all time favorite Star Wars lines is "So this is how democracy dies... with thunderous applause..." I have no political opinions. I'm a Dilbert fan! :)
Welcome!!! Another of Corinnea's family members...you all are taking over, not chickens! Never heard of the chickens, I'll have to ask my sister. Get crafting Norma:)
Thanks Kelly, I just couldn't stay out of the loop any longer. I miss all you guys and feel like I'm part of the group. I pretend I'm just on a long vacation and I'll be back there soon....
Thanks Jenny, I have been so loving your art and the pictures you post. You are very inspiring. I want to see your home with all your cool decorating. And those babies!!!! A DOR ABLE...
